About The Meridian Directory
We put the prices clinics already post into one place, so you can compare before you call.
Why We Built This
Finding out what acupuncture costs usually means opening one clinic website after another, then hunting for a price page that may or may not exist. We wanted one place where you can see the posted prices side by side, know where each number came from, and know how old it is.
How It Works
- Copied, not estimated. Every price comes from the clinic's own website, in the clinic's own words, with a link to the page.
- Read twice. Each price is read on two separate passes before it goes up, and every listing shows the date we checked it.
- Fixed fast. Clinics can correct, update or remove their listing for free, and anyone can report a price that changed.
What We Are Not
We are not a clinic, a booking service or an insurer, and we do not rate practitioners. No clinic pays to be listed or to rank. Nothing here is medical advice.
Who Runs It
The Meridian Directory is run by a small independent team. We are starting with Western North Carolina (12 counties so far) and adding counties one at a time. See our Listing Standards for exactly how we check prices, or download the full list as one CSV file.
Why "Meridian"
In acupuncture, meridians are the channels that acupuncture points sit along. The Meridian Directory is an independent price directory. It is not related to or affiliated with any clinic, hospital or health system that uses the name Meridian.
