What acupuncture costs at the 47 North Carolina clinics we list, in 23 cities so far. Every number comes from prices the clinics post themselves, read twice and dated. Prices checked November 1, 2026 to November 2, 2026.

Typical prices are medians of clinics with one fixed price for that visit type. Low and high cover every posted acupuncture visit price, including both ends of sliding scales.

First Visit Prices

Other Services
- Cupping: 9 clinics post a separate price, from $40 to $85.
- Herbal Consultation: 11 clinics post a separate price, from $30 to $123.
Some clinics say these are part of an acupuncture visit, and others do not post a separate price, so these counts are small.
Benchmarks Outside Our Listings
Two North Carolina programs that post their acupuncture fees but are not in the counties we list yet. Shown for comparison only.
- UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, Chapel Hill: $105 for the first visit and $80 for return visits, as posted on its acupuncture page. The page says it does not take insurance. Checked November 2, 2026.
- Jung Tao School Intern Clinic, Sugar Grove: up to $35 per treatment on an income-based sliding scale, with free treatments for patients who volunteer, as posted on the school's clinic page. A student clinic. Checked November 2, 2026.
How We Built This
- Only prices posted on each clinic's own website or confirmed by the clinic. Nothing estimated.
- Each price is read from the clinic's page on two separate passes before it is published. “Verified online” means the price matches the clinic's own website on the date shown. “Confirmed by phone” means the clinic also confirmed it with us by phone. Phone checks are underway.
- The typical price is the median: half the clinics charge less and half charge more. Clinics with a sliding scale or a price range are left out of the median and shown on their own.
- Packages, memberships and add-on services are not mixed into visit prices. Cupping and herbal consults are counted separately.
- The full data is free to use with credit: download the CSV.
- This report updates every time we add or recheck a clinic. It covers only the clinics we list, not every clinic in the state.
